"Unearthing Mysteries Deep Inside Your PC"
“Unearthing Mysteries Deep Inside Your PC” is an intellectually and visually stimulating jour-ney of discovery into a place few dare to venture, the mysterious world of the personal computer.  Through the use of PowerPoint and the popular learning tool “Show and Tell” the participants learn to identify the various components inside a computer and the role those components play in getting information from point A to point B.
This workshop was presented to the U.S. De-partment of Labor’s Women’s Bureau’s Gem Set Program held at the Field Museum; DuPage County Council Girl Scouts at the College of DuPage; The Gender Equity Fund’s “Get Ready for IT” Program and a full computer building class for eight grade girls for the following middle schools:  Michelle Clark, Andersen, Herzl, Mollison, Chalmers and Talcott
